Old n battered,
A ship in the storm.
I trudged along slowly,
Else I may sink, I may drown.
The skipper of my vessel,
Who else but me.
The pole star of my destiny,
Who else but me.
Do I sail alone,
No, not at all.
Who is my company,
He, the biggest of them all.
The energy to weather the storm,
Tide over the beauty, time.
Sail in glory again, masts aloft,
Conquer lands n oceans, Storm Again.

I love the metaphor of the ship in the storm, and especially that you do not travel alone. Wonderful!
