Black And White

Scared and affright,
What could be my plight.
Calm and quiet,
Not because but despite.

Without love and delight,
Boundless yet finite.
My life in flight,
Soulless, Black and White.

Black and White
Black and White

As I look back,
At my flaws and cracks.
How I stumbled,
How I crumbled.

Will I stand again,
Break out of the shell.
Win and excel,
Only time will tell.

  1. Wow. Tight and crisp, packing volumes of meaning. And I loved the rhymes, especially those used in the first stanza.
