She sauntered up in style,
The someones held their breath.
All mortals met her eyes,
Bewitched by her intoxicating smile.
She oozed class and oomph,
Petite was the lass.
A flower in full bloom,
Time stuttered, into an impasse.
Her hash brown tresses,
Blew warmth into the wind.
Her life, without any braids,
A hundred dreams, she pinned.
She stopped at the edge,
A few hearts, fell of the ledge.
The silence roared with a zing,
This lady, a resplendent spring morning.
Her smile disarmed the men,
The ladies, green with envy.
She was someone, who everyone yenned,
Her heart, taken; she was not free.
In a moment, everything was blur,
She disappeared, before any purrs.
She slipped many a hearts away,
The coy dame, An Invader.

ReplyDeleteA woman who knows she is beautiful....she seems to know her power.
ReplyDeleteThe coy dame oozing class and oomph ... I never quite trusted those women! Perhaps it was envy.

ReplyDeleteThe unreality of models confounds me as if the sight of them makes even the most hideous of fashions acceptable by the viewer being partially blind.

ReplyDeleteThe beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. thank you for sharing with us .
