Those evenings, those nights,
Our memories were in reprise.
A dream then, over the years,
Later, they brought out tears.
Tender moments, small and nice,
Had my heart in a flutter.
When you were cold as ice,
Everything soon turned blur.
Lots n lots could have been,
If our life didn't spin.
If you'd try to hold me,
The past wouldn't have been eerie.
And then you let me go,
My heart, had a thunderous blow.
I reclused into an empty shell,
A missy turned a barren belle.
Since then, I have let go.
In my life, I don't miss a beau.
Nothing now could gimme spite,
I'm flying high, a fluttering kite.
No, I am not lovelorn,
Neither I'm a lady scorned.
Today, I am a dame free,
A lissome gal, a svelte beauty.
Now that you wanna come back,
To turn white, our story black.
No, I'm not in a bind,
I'll just tell you, Never Mind.

I am marveling at your rhyming skills and this story is always entertaining. Great write!
