Well, I had always wanted to visit Moscow zoo, since 2008. By God's grace, I got a chance to visit the vast zoo, in central Moscow, a month ago.

A visit to the zoo is a must if you visit Moscow. The entry is fee for children upto 17 years, and costs 300 Rubles for adults. It is located just outside Barrikadnaya Metro, making it very easily accessible to tourists and locals.
Don't miss the Moscow Zoo when you are in Moscow. It would be an afternoon well spent.
